Deadpool is a secret playable character in X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse. Like other playable characters, he possesses powers and an xtreme move.
In-game, he is first seen in New York being controlled by Mister Sinister and the team of X-Men/Brotherhood has to be defeat him. Deadpool is unlocked after beating Apocalypse, or by using a cheat code to unlock all characters. If using Deadpool against the enemy Deadpool, both will have special dialogue. Due to his mercenary background, he is considered a Brotherhood member for gameplay purposes, with some NPCs even mistakenly calling him a member of the Brotherhood.

- Deadpool, along with Professor X are tied for having the least amount of costumes available in X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse. Both characters also possess only one XTreme move.
- Deadpool's default costume is the only costume to return in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, leaving his "Age of Apocalypse" costume exclusive to this game in the "Legends" series (though a slightly different version appeared in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2).
