Mister Sinister (AKA Nathaniel Essex) is one of the main antagonists in X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse and Apocalypse's right-hand man. Born in Victorian London, he's an evil scientific genius with expertise in biology, cloning, physics, engineering and genetics.
In X-Men Legends II, Sinister is voiced by Daniel Riordan.
X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse[]
In the game, Mister Sinister serves as Apocalypse's right-hand man. He's also the one responsible for the creation of the Infinites, powerful soldier clones that are produced everyday at the Infinite Factory, where Sinister also has an evil AI Computer based on himself. Some of his gene spliced mutants are also seen in various areas across the lands.
According to NPCs, he was once a Horseman of Apocalypse. At some point, he lost this role and attempted to betray Apocalypse for his own goals. This is further evidenced by the Master Key leading into a secret back door into Apocalypse's Tower and a possible tampering with the Harmonic DNA device. Mister Sinister is seen during the game's ending where he appears on top of Apocalypse's pyramid letting loose a sinister laughter.

- In Genosha, Mister Sinister has a special dialogue with Nightcrawler. In Egypt, he (and Dark Beast) have a special dialogue with Storm.
